Image to SVG Converter - Raster to Vector

Upload a photo or icon and vectorize it into an infinitely scalable SVG. Pick from presets and tune the colour count and simplification — all locally in your browser.

All processing happens locally in your browser; images are never uploaded to a server

Click or drag to upload an image

Auto-vectorizes with the current settings once an image is uploaded; tweaks re-run after a short debounce. Everything runs locally in your browser — no uploads.

Tip

Upload a PNG or JPG and the tool traces it in your browser into an infinitely scalable SVG. Switch between posterized, curvy, sharp and detailed presets, tune the colour count and simplification, then preview, copy the code or download the SVG — all processed locally with no uploads.

Features

Multiple Vectorize Presets

Built-in default, posterized, curvy, sharp, detailed, smoothed and grayscale presets produce different tracing styles in one click, and you can keep fine-tuning in the advanced options.

Adjustable Colours & Simplification

Set 2–64 colours, the simplification of lines and curves, omitted tiny paths and stroke width, and choose whether to output a responsive viewBox — balancing fidelity and file size.

Live Preview & Size Stats

See the SVG preview right away along with the path count and output size, and compare the original bitmap against the vectorized result side by side.

Automatic Downsampling for Large Images

When the source is over 1000 pixels on its longest side it is downsampled before tracing, avoiding an oversized SVG or slow processing, with a clear notice.

Steps

1

Upload a Bitmap

Click or drag in a PNG, JPG or WebP image; the tool reads its pixels and traces it automatically the first time.

2

Pick a Preset & Options

Choose a suitable vector preset and, if needed, adjust the colour count, simplification, omitted small paths and stroke width in the advanced options.

3

Preview & Export

Review the vectorized result with its path count and size, then download the .svg file or copy the SVG code for the web or design work.
