ID Photo Background Changer - White, Blue & Red
Upload a portrait, auto-cut the person and swap the ID photo background — white, standard blue, red, light blue, grey or a custom colour — with solid or linear gradient fill, a manual retouch brush and full-resolution PNG/JPG export.
Click or drag to upload an image
After you upload an ID photo the person is cut out automatically; changing the parameters re-generates the mask after a short debounce. Manual retouching overlays the automatic result. Everything runs locally in your browser — no uploads.
Tip
Upload a portrait ID photo and the tool cuts out the person right in your browser, then replaces the background with white, standard blue, red, light blue, grey or a custom colour. Choose a solid or gradient fill, retouch with a manual brush, and export at the original full resolution — ready for applications, IDs and onboarding.
Features
Common Backgrounds in One Click
Built-in white, standard blue, red, light blue and grey backgrounds, plus a colour picker and hex input for custom colours, covering most ID and exam requirements.
Auto Cutout with Feathered Edges
Background is sampled from the four corners, then each pixel is classified as person or background with adjustable tolerance, feathering and edge choke to remove leftover background colour.
Solid or Gradient Fill
Fill the background with a solid colour or a linear gradient, with a start colour, end colour and 0–360° angle for studio-style gradient backdrops.
Manual Retouch Brush
When the automatic cutout is imperfect, paint directly on the preview with the restore-person or erase-to-background brush. Your manual edits are kept even after you change the parameters.
Steps
Upload a Portrait Photo
Click or drag in a front-facing, evenly lit ID photo; the tool reads the pixels and runs the first cutout automatically.
Pick a Background & Parameters
Choose a white, blue or red preset or a custom colour, switch to a gradient if you like, tune the tolerance and feathering, and retouch with the brush when needed.
Export a High-Resolution Photo
Pick PNG (optionally keeping transparency) or JPG, recompute at the original full resolution and download, named like "originalname_idcolor.jpg".
